The antenna arrays of this construction design consist of 16 active elements arranged in 2 rows and 4 columns. Every individual element has 2 connections, one for every polarization. 28 passive elements generate similar radiation patterns. A board for activation, a filter, a 1 to 16 changeover switch for 10 W, as well as the entire control logic, are integrated into the array. With the use of a laser module, the array can be reproducibly positioned. The radome protects the array against moisture and dirt accumulation. As a result of its special structure, the array achieves a forward-to-back ratio of better than 25 dB. The antenna structure can be mounted with a mast bracket.
