UWB Omnidirectional Antennas
The antenna structure represented is a bi-conical horn. Its surface shape corresponds to an exponential function. As a result of this special geometry, a working bandwidth from 500 MHz to over 12 GHz can be achieved. The matching in this range is better than 9 dB. The antenna radiates horizontally omni-directionally, with vertical polarization. The connection is female SMA in each case.
To decrease weight, the antenna is made of aluminum and is provided with a radome.
